Pastor
Carlos A. Jiménez is of Dominican nationality and resides in the NY Metropolitan area. As an international speaker at churches and conferences, Carlos has a dynamic holistic approach for integrating biblical principles and perspectives into the socio-political, educational and cultural issues of today.
His desire is to see the dynamic transformation of families, cities and nations through the proclamation of the Gospel and the presentation of a biblical worldview that impacts every sphere of life. From this desire, God placed him to found and pastor Nation Builders since 2005. He also has been pastor of Christian Worship Center since 2023.
As part of the many leaders and ministries that desire oneness and revival in the New York City area, Carlos is also the founder of Adora America. Carlos is married to Lissette Acosta de Jiménez, and resides with his children Karla Lissette, Nehemías Alberto, Benjamín Gadiel and Gian Carlos.
Apostle
Ben Paz, together with his wife Teresa Paz, is the founder and senior pastor of Words of Life Christian Center. Ben is recognized for his apostolic grace, the depth of his gifts as a teacher of the Word, and his sensitivity to the move of the Holy Spirit, building the body of Christ not only in his own city, but around the world.
The ministry God has placed in his hands is characterized by a great passion for establishing God’s Kingdom, and raising up other pastors with the same passion for their cities and nations.
With this heart, he and his wife Teresa are founders of the Words of Life Apostolic Family over which they preside. They work with pastors and churches domestically and internationally helping them strengthen their leadership and manifest the life and advancement of God and His purpose in their cities. They’re also the founders of Paz Ministries, and are part of the council of the UNGE Apostolic.
Bishop
Dr. Joseph Mattera is an internationally-known author, futurist, consultant, and scholar whose mission is to influence leaders who influence nations. He leads several organizations and is known as a global networker for movement leaders.
He has a DMin. from Baake University, THD from Antioch University , and was a PHD candidate. His articles are posted by numerous media outlets, and routinely ricochet across the net globally. Dr. Mattera is renowned for addressing current events through the lens of Scripture by applying biblical truths and offering cogent defenses to today's postmodern culture.
Bishop
Has faithfully served the Lord for more than 40 years in different ministerial functions.
He currently serves as Bishop directing the International Movement of ICP churches. At the same time, he is Pastor of Restoration House Church in Hartford, CT.
Together with his wife, Rev. Miriam Torres, they are parents of three children and he is the grandfather of 6 grandchildren.
In Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit; born of the virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, died, and was buried; descended into hell; on the third day rose again from the dead; ascended into heaven; and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, and from thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
The assembling of the Body of Christ is the representation of the Corporate Son.
We believe that for God to establish a permanent increase of His presence and purpose in a region, the sons of God must come together in one place and one accord. (Acts 1:14) Adora America serves as a catalyst for this unity by leading the Church to lift up an altar of worship and prayer in the city and mobilizing them for coordinated evangelism.

As part of a previous move of God amongst the Hispanic community in this region, in 1998, the church declared New York as the city of God. Since then we received a powerful message from the Lord about the significance of an altar.
An altar is so much more than just a place to sing and preach - it's a place where we offer ourselves up to God. God commanded us to build an altar in a city, a nation, and a continent, and that's exactly what we did.
This vision was initiated by Carlos Jimenez, and confirmed by other key leaders in the city. Since the start we were able to organize altars of worship in New York City (2003), the Dominican Republic (2007), and throughout the Americas (2012).
It's incredible to think about how far we've come since the initial revelation of the altar as a place of unity.
Now, twelve years later God has amplified the revelation of the altar through the Scripture as a place of unity for the corporate son to be assembled. It is in this place of oneness, the Church is empowered and motivated by God to continue its call in fulfilling the Great Commission. An altar is not just a moment, but it is the starting point of perpetual revival and connection between the Body of Christ.
Through Divine declaration of God and the miraculous work of His hand, Adora America starts to sound the alarm of this convocation of the corporate son at Madison Square Garden on July 5, 2024.
